Whitney Houston’s official cause of death is: drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and has ruled her death an accident.
The toxicology report also states: “Cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to the death. Marijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified but did not contribute to the death.”
Lady GaGa will take a break from the media once her interview with Oprah Winfrey airs this Sunday, March 18, 2012.
Oprah interviewed GaGa, (Stephanie Germanotta), and mom, Cynthia Germanotta, for an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, in which she stated: “Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time… ” No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, ‘Did you hear about…’ I shut it all off.”

Rich Brenner, a FOX8 sports anchor for nearly 21 years, has died.
Rich, a major part of the FOX8 Family over the years, died Monday night. He was 65 years old.
Rich was attending the “Salute to Heroes” event in Greensboro when he suffered a heart attack. Medical personnel at the event were unable to revive Rich.
Whitney Houston was laid to rest Sunday, February 19th at Fairview Cemetery next to her father, John Russell Houston, who died in 2003. The burial was a private “family only” service.
Fans gathered along the motorcade route from the Newark funeral home to the Westfield cemetery to say their last goodbyes.
