In light of the Prince smear campaign, I’ve got to speak up. This happens too often with those people who not only entertain us, but enrich our lives, and become a part of our journey through life.
Though many would like to personally know their entertainer heroes, you’re given the opportunity to share in the creativity and talent they chose to share.
Does learning of their personal lives, takeaway from the art, music, movies, writing, etc., that they gave you? It shouldn’t.
So, for the entertainers I know, work with, love, and support… Thank you! For sharing your gift with me, and countless others. What you choose to do in your personal life, is just that; personal. And frankly, is none of anyone’s business during your life or death.

Agree leave us all alone in the afterlife. Why is nothing sacred, private, or personal? Great post reminding us to speak the positives of others. Just posted about my emotional experience attending Prince last concert, would love it if you check it out! http://www.spanishmossseries.com
Beautifully written! I was wiping tears by the end… Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your experience. I’ll hang onto the March 2011 concert experience forever!
